Battlefield Role

Choose a covered firing lane that suits the gun depression and fitted optics. Guard the flanks, limit hull exposure and keep an exit available before firing. With solid kinetic ammunition, aim through a useful crew or module line rather than expecting an explosive filler to spread damage.

Strengths

Use the balance of mobility and firepower to move between attacking and defending.

When to spawn

A useful first spawn on many maps. In uptiers, work with teammates for side shots rather than forcing a frontal fight.

Common Mistakes

  • Repeating the same peek. Once an enemy has your range, move to another angle before firing again. A second shot from the same opening is easier to anticipate.
  • Firing without a retreat. Choose cover you can reach during the reload. Do not cross into an enemy firing lane just to finish a damaged target.

Survivability and Armor

Crew
4 persons

Conceal the lower hull and guard the sides and rear. Turret armor, APS and ERA vary by model and incoming projectile; inspect the exact vehicle rather than assuming protection.

Composite armor, ERA and impact angle change the result. Use Protection Analysis for the specific round and impact point you expect to face.

Ammunition

M152 · HEATFS

Use against armor where the jet can reach the crew. Composite armor and ERA can defeat it; fences and other obstacles may trigger the shell before impact.

DM63 · APFSDS

Use against armored vehicles. Aim through crew or critical modules; the narrow shot path makes placement matter.

M111 · APFSDS

Use against armored vehicles. Aim through crew or critical modules; the narrow shot path makes placement matter.

Ready Rack and Carry Load

First-stage capacity

Maximum capacity
54 rounds

Carry enough for the route and resupply plan. A listed first-stage capacity alone does not establish a safe spawn load or prove that another rack is empty.

Maximum reverse speed
