How to play this lineup
Opening spawn
Leopard 2A4 is the default core opener. Use a covered firing lane and the equipment actually fitted to your vehicle. Check flanks between shots; modern optics do not reveal every target. Use another core vehicle when the map favors its role.
Urban maps
Cover one approach at a time. Stop short of corners, listen, and let the gun settle. Keep an escape route and avoid isolated pushes.
Open maps
Inspect ridges before crossing. Use terrain to conceal the hull where gun depression allows; move after your position becomes predictable.
Uptier / downtier
In an uptier, assume frontal armor may fail and seek side shots or a support lane. In a downtier, pressure with teammates after checking enemy guns; never assume you are invulnerable.
Enemy matchups
Against modern MBTs, do not treat the turret cheeks as a default target. Verify lower-hull, gun-area and side shots in Protection Analysis for your round and the exact opponent.
If the first spawn is lost
Choose Leopard 2K, TAM 2C for a different lane or role. Switch to suitable SPAA when aircraft are the immediate threat rather than repeating a watched route.
In three matches, identify cover and an exit before the opening shot. After each death, change the route or role for your next spawn.
Manage reload windows and avoid exposing multiple vulnerable surfaces at once.
Do not take one newly unlocked MBT into a thin lineup. Bring viable support and air defense.
Ammunition and stock grind
Check the vehicle guides for shell choices and ready-rack capacity. Start with useful anti-armor ammunition and available repair/firefighting upgrades, then unlock the equipment your role needs. Use your stock shells while researching better options.

- You have useful backups for the new vehicle while you unlock its modifications.
